Webflow relaunch & SEO

Relaunch Webflow without unnecessary SEO risk.

We treat SEO as part of the migration foundation: before, during and after the Webflow launch.

Check SEO risk

What needs to be ready before launch

  • Export and review existing URLs
  • Plan redirects for changed paths
  • Check titles, descriptions, headings and canonicals
  • Align sitemap, robots.txt and 404 behavior
  • After launch, monitor crawling, indexing and error pages

Why SEO belongs in planning

If redirects or metadata are discovered at the end, a relaunch becomes unnecessarily risky. That is why SEO belongs in the analysis and planning phase.

FAQ

Answers about Webflow relaunch & SEO.

How do I protect rankings during a relaunch?

We export the existing URL list with clicks and impressions, map each URL to the matching new Webflow page, and prepare a 301 plan. Metadata, structured data and internal links are carried over before launch.

What happens to old URLs after launch?

Old URLs permanently 301-redirect to their new equivalents. After launch we verify in Search Console and server logs that redirects work and Google is crawling them cleanly.

Which SEO checks belong before launch?

At minimum: complete redirect plan, metadata and canonical check, sitemap and robots.txt, structured data, hreflang for multilingual sites, OG/Twitter cards, Core Web Vitals, and a 404/soft-404 sweep across all old URLs.

When can I measure success after launch?

First indexing signals appear within one to two weeks. Reliable ranking and traffic trends typically take four to eight weeks, because Google needs to fully recrawl and re-evaluate the new site.
